Marissa’s love of event planning started with a couple courses she took in college which led her to working at the MSHSL. There, she worked extensively with high school athletics across the state of Minnesota, ranging from communications and graphic design to project coordination and implementation of state tournaments. It was this position that only furthered her passion and enjoyment for all things event planning and design. Here at JMA, she is excited to bring her expertise to help clients have the best and most meaningful experience possible. 

In her free time, she can be found behind her computer writing her next book (four of which are published), coaching girls high school hockey, or cuddled up at home with her German Shepherd, Wylie, and her Tabby, Kentucky.
